Starting February 2, 2015, the processing of the Certificate on Non-Coverage (CNC) applications for Category D projects, can now be processed and issued online. This is pursuant to the Environmental Management Bureau Memorandum Circular 2015-003 (click here). Implementation of Online Processing of Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) Applications for Category B Projects requiring Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) Checklist Report forms under the PEISS.
The process involves logging into the EMB website, selecting the online CNC application, entering project details, answering questions to determine coverage, paying the application fee at a bank, uploading required documents, tracking status online, and ultimately printing the approved CNC.
